Pau Mallorqui

With over three years of experience in Pre-Seed VC Investments and a solid background in publicly traded markets (equities), Pau combines financial acumen with a passion for identifying groundbreaking opportunities. Currently serving as an Investment Associate at Lanai Partners, Pau leads the investment team, co-leads various investments, and manages relationships with investors and venture capital vehicles. Over the past two years, Pau has analyzed over 1,600 companies and invested in 13 notable startups. Additionally, Pau oversees portfolio management, providing quarterly reports, continuous support, and managing follow-on and exit processes.

Previously, Pau managed portfolios at Gesiuris Asset Management SGIIC, handling European market operations, daily trading activities, investor relations, and regulatory compliance. Earlier experience includes roles as a Junior Analyst at Trea Asset Management SGIIC and Portfolio Manager at Ginvest Asset Management SGIIC, focusing on fundamental analysis, macroeconomic sector evaluations, and portfolio operations.

Pau holds a Master’s degree in Portfolio Management from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (IEB), with academic exchanges at the London School of Economics (LSE), and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the IQS School of Management. Additionally, Pau has passed CFA Level II and completed specialized courses in Private Equity & Venture Capital Portfolio Management at LSE and Enterprise Valuation at IEB. Pau’s entrepreneurial spirit, combined with professional expertise and personal passions for sports and travel, fuels a dynamic approach to venture capital and investment.
